Amino resins are generally used in combination with other resins. Urea-formaldehyde resins are the most reactive and least expensive resins in this group. Butylated and isobutylated urea formaldehyde crosslinking resins are compatible with alkyds, epoxies and other film forming resins. They are used in formulations of conversion coatings for wood, quality conversion varnishes and low temperature bake enamels for a wide range of products.
