Manganese Violet Pigments Premier VM
Manganese violet pigments are inorganic pigments. They have a low level of toxicity and are non-irritating and non-sensitizing. They are used where colorants possessing excellent heat stability, light fastness and solvent resistance are required.
Plastics Manganese violet pigments may be used in most types of plastic polymers. These pigments have excellent dispersion characteristics and are also used at low levels for the color correction of polymers.
Paints and Coatings - Manganese violet pigments are ideal for use in most solvent based paint and coating systems. They are also widely used in water based systems.
Other - They are also used in artists colors and printing ink.
6139 is a blue shade Manganese Violet pigment. It disperses easily and can be used in the production of masterbatch and color concentrates. It is also ideally suited for use as a toning pigment and for color correction of clear and white polymer systems. It is suitable for use in most commonly used polymers but should be fully evaluated before use in ABS, PBT and polyamide. It is not recommended for use in SAN and Polycarbonate.
*Color - Pigment reduced 1:4 with TiO2 in high impact polystyrene.
